About team: We are the first ladies lacrosse team in Hungary! Our
story began in 2009, when one girl returning from America wanted to continue
playing lacrosse. Slowly, more and more girls joined, and by 2010 we had enough
players to form a team. Because there are no other Hungarian teams, the
Blackberries attend as many tournaments as possible hosted by regional
countries, such as Tricksters Cup in Bratislava, besides our own annual New Year’s
Cup in Budapest. We are very excited to be able to play for the first time
at Silesia Cup this year, especially looking forward to facing new opponents
from different countries!
